Ms. Greene has developed expertise in the defense of first and third party general tort liability claims with a special emphasis on personal injury including construction and related coverage matters. She also provides consultation services on contract and risk management issues to clients. Ms. Greene has extensive experience in the defense of medical negligence actions including physicians, nurses, professional corporations, and nursing/rehabilitation facilities. She has successfully defended employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Cook County Human Rights Commission. Other areas of significant expertise include defending products liability, premises liability, and Dram Shop claims for National Sports Organizations and Retailers. Her clients have included primary and excess insurers, self-insureds, and both small and Fortune 100 companies.
Ms. Greene’s trial experience includes the successful defense of complex multi-party cases with verdict values exceeding several million dollars. She has practiced in both state and federal courts throughout the Midwest. She has argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and has successfully presented a case of first impression before the Illinois Supreme Court. She has attained an AV rating from her peers.
Ms. Greene also serves as an arbitrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois.
