Professional Profile

For nearly 40 years, Mr. Progar has represented the interests of insurance companies, self-insureds, and nonprofit organizations. As lead counsel, Mr. Progar has tried more than 50 jury trials to verdict.

Mr. Progar regularly presents seminars for insurance claims representatives, and attorneys on issues relating to trial practice, insurance coverage, claims handling, and alternative dispute resolution. He has also published articles in legal journals and newsletters on topics such as trial practice, evidence, and civil procedure. Most recently, Mr. Progar authored the cover story in the February 2017 issue of Claims Magazine, "Get the Lead Out: Drinking Water Contamination Claims and Liability."
